Message from the President
Greetings and welcome from your PAMET family! As we gear towards the 53rd Annual Convention, I am very pleased to invite you to the much-anticipated yearly scientific gathering with the theme “Raising the Gold Standard for World-class Medical Technologists”. It will be held once again at the country’s premiere and biggest conference venue - the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel in Newport City, Pasay City on November 20, 2017 for the pre-convention workshop and on November 21-23, 2017, for the full conference.
This year’s most awaited event promises to usher Filipino Medical Technologists to greater heights, through an impressive line-up of relevant topics and high-caliber speakers from various fields of specialization. As the call for advance competencies and credentials is now inevitable, the urgency to level up the expertise of laboratory professionals become more apparent than ever before. Thus, the need to further raise the Gold Standard.
Let this gathering be an opportunity to get acquainted with recent state-of-art technologies through the extensive diagnostic exhibits and to strengthen linkages among our colleagues.

- MOST OUTSTANDING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST: Most meritorious contribution to the practice of Medical Technology
- DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the general membership through service
- CRISANTO G. ALMARIO MEMORIAL AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the field of research
- MOST OUTSTANDING CHAPTER AWARD: Most meritorious contribution to the Association in terms of professional upliftment of members in the chapter level through its exemplary programs and activities.
