Message from the President
It gives me great pleasure as I extend my warmest invitation for the coming 10th PAMET Visayas Regional Convention which will be held on March 13-15 2019 at the newly opened Summit Hotel-Robinsons, Tacloban City, Leyte.
Anchored on the theme “Turning the Formidable Past Into a Distinguished Future In the Practice of Medical Laboratory Science”, it is envisioned that through these meetings, we can address tough challenges and deliver better the health care services even in a highly dynamic health care settings.
Indeed, we have a list of a highly selected group of discussants lined-up for the scientific sessions. There is an opportunity for viewing and getting acquainted with the state-of-the art and cutting edge technologies being brought over to our region through the exhibits. We provided also an option for the participants to get involved in an environmental protection activity as a sign of PAMET’s corporate social responsibility. Most of all, this can be a good chance of a reunion, for meeting former batchmates, or simply making new but lasting friendships and partnerships.
I am therefore calling on our PAMET family to please be engaged and make this first time hosting for EVC chapter successful and impressive.
For always, we are indeed One PAMET.

This scientific exhibit is an excellent opportunity for our industry partners in Medical Technology to showcase emerging technologies and efficiently interact with their target audience. This is likewise the perfect venue to introduce new ideas as well as to reaffirm and strengthen existing ties. Call for Papers
PAMET is calling for oral and poster presentations during the regional convention. Entries will be Professional and Student categories. Please send an abstract, author`s full name, and e-mail address to pameteasternvisayas@gmail.com. Guidelines will be sent to your e-mail account.

Guidelines
- ENTITLEMENT: Full convention fee entitles the delegate to:

- March 13 - PM Snack and Welcome dinner / March 14 - AM and PM Snacks, Lunch, Farewell dinner / March 15 - AM Snack
- Attendance in all scientific sessions and exhibits.
THERE WILL BE NO REPLACEMENT FOR LOST MEAL TICKETS, SOUVENIR PROGRAM OR ANY COMPONENT OF THE KIT.
- CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE will be issued at the end of the convention upon submission of evaluation form.
- CANCELLATION AND REFUND
- All payments are non-refundable after February 12, 2019.
- 50% of the payment is refundable when cancellation is made on or before February 12, 2019.
- Submit a cancellation letter. NO LETTER, NO REFUND.
- NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AFTER FEBRUARY 12, 2019.
- Refund to be released through CHECK ONLY IN THE NAME OF THE PAYOR.
